Lifelong Baton Rouge resident Johnny McKay attended Catholic High School, finished LSU with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and is a 1999 graduate of Loyola University School of Law. Prior to becoming a Cypress Title partner in 2006, he practiced law in Baton Rouge with McKay Law Firm and McKay Title Company. He specializes in commercial and residential real estate matters, successions and business litigation. Johnny serves as a board member of the Greater Baton Rouge Mortgage Lenders Association.
Johnny and his wife Catharine have three children, Jack, James and Caroline.

Jacques Waguespack was born and raised in Napoleonville, Louisiana and has been a life-long resident of south Louisiana. Upon graduating from LSU Law School in 1999, his law practice focused solely on residential real estate. After starting and managing a title company, which handled more than 700 residential transactions per year, and working as the general counsel for a residential developer, Jacques moved to Chicago, Illinois. There he obtained his LL.M. with honors in Commercial Real Estate from The John Marshall Law School.
While in Chicago, he worked in the real estate section of one of the ten largest law firms in the country.
